Variér Pause is designed by the renowned Danish design duo Strand+Hvass. They have applied their modern and Scandinavian expression to develop a piece of modern design that gives you all the comforts of a recliner.
The tilt function in this chair is a unique feature which gives you the possibility to lean back into a fully reclined position. Moreover, the upper back module can be tilted forward whilst watching TV or reading books in the most reclined position. In addition, the neck support is attached to the chair with magnets, thus providing a stepless and elegant adjustment.
The designers have also designed this chair to be large enough for you and your kid. Bring children’s books or hobbies and spend quality time together with your loved ones! And should you have a well-earned break alone, just curl yourself up inside the chair’s embracing shape.
For those seeking a simpler and smaller variant without tilt, the Pause chair is also available as a lounge/club version.
The entry price in wool fabrics is £1990 including the foot rest. The lounge version starts at £1290.
